Pasir Ris is a residential town and a planning area in Singapore. It is bounded by other planning areas of the East Region which include Paya Lebar and Tampines to the south, Changi on the east and Sengkang on the southwest. There are also maritime and riverine boundaries with North-Eastern Islands and Punggol on the west respectively. The town has one constituency Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC. As of 2015, the district was estimated to have 139, 890 people spread across the 15.02 square kilometers of the region. Initially, the town was very underdeveloped because it was covered by numerous plantations which include the Singapore United Plantations, Thai Min Estates and Hun Yeang Plantations among others.
From the early 1950s to the 1970s, the beach in the region was known for water skiing and the Pasir Ris Hotel for hosting numerous picnic gatherings, official meetings, and parties. The development of the area as part of the new town started in 1983 with the first phase being Pasir Ris Estate and Elias Road. Pasir Ris is located near the beach hence has recreation centers along the beach. Some of the facilities include NTUC Downtown East which is a bigger project that hosts chalets and several theme parks. There are also parks in the project such as Pasir Ris Park and another park for pets. There are other facilities in the project, around and along the beach. Such facilities include sports centers, recreation centers, swimming pools, shopping, and entertainment complex and even water-based theme park among others. Currently, Pasir Ris has two major industries which are United Microelectronics Corporation and SSMC which are wafer fabrication parks. Pasir Ris is also in the planning stage to develop another wafer fabrication facility as planned by the Jurong Town Corporation. Other social amenities in the region include more than 12 primary and secondary schools, a temple, a mosque, and five churches. Commercial services include six malls, community clubs, and a hawking center to mention a few. Pasir Ris is well known for its recreational facilities that attract tourist from other regions. Some of the facilities include beaches, resorts and theme parks including one for pets. The White Sands Shopping Mall also stands out because of its popularity even to the resident of the neighboring towns

I received wonderful service from Jimmy. He reached our location at the agreed timing and proceeded to analyse the situation with our broken lock and explained how he will fix the problem. When we enquired more on the different lock models available for replacement, he was not pushy and explained the pros and cons of each model. In the end, we selected what we thought suited us best. Great & prompt service and I feel very lucky that I found this shop from google! Our main door lock suddenly got spoiled which caused unable me to get in the house on sunday morning. I was exhausted and tired after long walk and grocery shopping. They promptly helped to open the door and replace new one at reasonable price. Not over & hard selling and it's in fact cheaper than other 2 places that I compared. They explained well whats wrong and how they are going to fix it. Keep up the good work! We were very happy and pleased with David's service. He was very focussed and professional, managed to pry our door open in less than 5 minutes. He even offered us advice on how to ensure that we dont end up locking ourselves out of our bedroom again. Fast and efficient service, arrived in my house in 30 minutes and finished unlocking the door in 1 minutes time. I am glad that I am still able to use this door lock after unlocking the door lock. Really recommend for emergency door-unlocking.
